Although I could not be more over the whole Easter holiday, I feel it appropriate to post the most recent family pic. It just happened to be taken on Easter Sunday right after church. Our neighbor Emma took the picture for us. Thanks yo. Here we are! I love them all!

Relaxin' to the Max'n
This was back in the day. (Obviously. This stud is rocking 'unders' now instead of that little sissy baby diaper. Geez.) He was tired and decided this is what he was going to do about it. I don't blame the kid. 'Psssssh. Who cares? I can take a nap wherever the heck I feel like it!'

Most Wanted
Sullivan, Lamby
Stuffed Lamb
Age: Almost 1
Weight: 1/2 lb.
Height: 6 inches
Hair: Faded White/Grungy Gray
Arrested by JACEEPD
Meet Lamby. This stuffed bundle of goodness is what keeps peace in our valley. Honestly though, if we were to ever lose this fluffy friend, life would become extremely difficult. Jacee is SO attached to this little thing. I do not think she would even be able to go to bed without it. If she ever gets hurt somehow or her feelings hurt, Lamby makes everything better. She luffs it.

Cannonball
Cannon wanted to be on my blog. Here he is. He is a little champ and is showing off his sweet mustache. Can you blame him? Mustaches are awesome.
Land Cruza
This is an early 70's Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. Basically, this is my dream vehicle. I found this one in Springdale when I was working up there. This particular one has been highly modified which is pretty obvious. Growing up, Todd (my brother) and I have always loved these. I do not know what it is about them but they are so awesome. They are so rugged and tough. I have been training/brainwashing both my boys and Jacee to like these and they can spot them when we are out and see one.
One day, probably later than sooner, I will own one of these. When I do, it will be awesome.
And yes, the guy did come out of his house wondering why and the crap I was taking a picture of his car and giving it the complete look down. Hahaha!
cows in rivs
Driving back from Gunlock last week, I saw this awesome cow out chillin all by himself in the little river. I thought it was pretty funny so I pulled over and took a picture. So, here it is.
Peace y'all.
Deep Thoughts and Toquerville
This is a snapshot of a portion of Toquerville, Utah. You know, paradise. Ok, not as good as Beryl or Enoch but it's pretty awesome. As you can see, I used my sweet Google mapping skills to draw a little route. The two points signify starting and ending points. You start at the lower point to the right and drive up Toquer Blvd (yes, they really do call it Toquer Blvd), make a left on to Westfield Rd, make the bend in the road and drive south to get to the end of Westfield. When running the route at work that delivers in Toquerville, I often get deliveries at the very end of this street where I put the destination marker point. It is such a pain in the butt stop. Not trying to sugar coat anything here. From the beginning marker point, you can basically look to the left and see the house you need to deliver to but have to go out of your way for 15 minutes or so to get there. Heck, you could probably throw a rock at the house from the starting point but are separated by lava-rock beds and a huge ravine. It is one of those appropriate times to use the phrase 'So close, yet, so far away.' This specific delivery has brought a deep thought to my mind on more than one occasion. Here it goes...... There are many things in our lives that we would like to achieve. One of these things for me personally has been making the leap from where I am at now in working for Fedex as a courier to moving into management. The company has a process that non-management employees can utilize to move into an entry-level management position. This has been something that I have been working on for what feels like forever now. I started the process more than 7 or 8 months ago and finished it up just recently. I have been actively looking for opening positions in the company that might possibly work as my next 'gig.' Let's just say it feels like I am still just starting the journey towards the end of Westfield Rd. and can look to the left and see my final destination but still have a long long ways ahead of me. Ahhhhh!
Well, all I can really do is keep chugging along and moving forward in the right direction. Eventually, one day, I'll get there. Not that Fedex management is a dream come true, but, it is progress. It is definitely not the end but it is hopefully the stepping stone that will help me move on farther and enable me to do more.
Btw.... I hope this makes some kind of sense.
